'Space Jam 2' With LeBron James Reportedly Finds Its Director
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Rumors have been circulating for almost a year now, but a Space Jam sequel has reportedly found its director.
Justin Lin will direct the film for Warner Bros., according to Variety.com. LeBron James will play the role as Michael Jordan. According to variety, Andrew Dodge will write the script, while Charles Ebersol is producing the film.
Lin is known for his work on the Fast and Furious franchise and his current work on Star Trek Beyond.
The original Space Jam film made $230 million in 1996.
