Southwest Philadelphia Store And Bar Robbed At Gunpoint
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A store in the Elmwood section of Southwest Philadelphia was robbed early Saturday morning.
The store, which is connected to a bar, was robbed by a single male armed with a handgun. The thief stole about $200-300, and no injuries were reported.
Shortly thereafter, police received notification of shots fired around 67th and Elmwood. They investigated and found that no one was hit.
Southwest Detectives are currently investigating whether or not the two incidents are related.
