South Jersey Woman Sentenced For Helping To Beat Another Woman With A Wine Bottle
TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – A judge sentenced a woman convicted of helping to assault another woman with a wine bottle to five years in prison, citing the "especially cruel and depraved manner" of the crime.
Savannah R. Tatton, a 19-year-old from Audubon, pleaded guilty to helping to assault the woman in Glassboro last summer.
In addition to prison time, Tatton was also ordered to pay $100,000 worth of medical bills for the victim, who was beaten by the two assailants and left unconscious at North Main Street and College Avenue.
Tatton and her co-defendant, 28-year-old Heather Seehousz, were also charged with robbery in addition to aggravated assault.
