CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) -- Since 2001, a local organization based in Washington Township, NJ has been helping to make woman feel extra special for Mother's Day.
Today, that organization delivered gift bags to mothers at a Camden hospital.
"We gave her lotion, and we gave her a towel," says six-year-old Ginelli, a patient at Cooper University Hospital, who was given a Mother's Day gift bag to pass along to her mother, Vanessa Camacho. The gift bag was filled with personal health and beauty care products.
"This is awesome -- it's nice to have them think about us," Camacho (top center in photo) said.
Susan Rose (at right in photo) is president of the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation, named after her late daughter.
"It's comfort," she said of her organization's mission. "It's making a difference to some of our Mother's Day gift bag recipients -- its their only Mother's Day present."
Rose says the organization's program, titled "Mothers Matter," will enable 2,500 mothers at various institutions and community centers to receive the presents.
