South Jersey Man Arrested For Allegedly Attempting To Sell Prescription Drugs On Craigslist
EGG HARBOR CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Police say a South Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly selling prescription drugs on Craigslist.
Egg Harbor City police say 22-year-old Jonathan Santiago, of Egg Harbor City, was arrested Thursday at about 5 p.m. for allegedly selling Oxycotin.
According to police, the investigation began when a detective saw a Craigslist post Thursday morning that said a person was selling 45 60mg pills of Oxycotin for $2,500.
Investigators say the ad was tracked back to Santiago, who was arrested at his home, located on New York Avenue.
Santiago was charged with third degree unlawful possession of a prescription drug and third degree possession with intent to distribute a prescription drug.
21-year-old Casie Jensen, who was inside the home at the time, was charged with a disorderly person's offense for obstructing the administration of law.
Both suspects were processed and released.
