In the 911 call, a woman told the dispatcher her twin 7-month-olds were unresponsive in their cribs and that they were purple. The caller tells the dispatcher she'd been doing CPR for 15 minutes but they weren't breathing at all.
"Oh my God, my twins, my twins are like purple, they're not breathing," the woman frantically said on the 911 call.
There is no indication yet who was responsible for the children's care.
"I just remember when I first moved here, they were really nice to me," said neighbor Ebony Bell.
Bell said she's spoken several times to the woman who left the apartment distraught, who she believes is the infants' mother. She said she watched the scene with a horrible feeling inside.
"She was screaming, like she was crying really bad," Bell explained. "They put her in the back of a cop car and I saw them bring out bags, like body bags, so it's horrible."
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is investigating.
There is no word on a cause of death for either infant.
