Source: Andrew Bynum Injured Knee While Bowling

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Andrew Bynum told people that his most recent knee "setback" occurred while the center was bowling, a source has confirmed. The incident happened within the last two weeks.
The source also said that the team is unhappy with Bynum because of the way the injury happened, and Bynum has "real concerns" about getting a contract after this season, which could be a reason why the center has not yet played.
The story was originally reported by ESPN on Saturday.
Bynum told press before the Sixers' win over the Jazz on Friday night that he had a "setback" while recovering from a bone bruise in his right knee, and has injured his left knee. When Bynum was asked how the new injury occurred, he said "just routine things. It just swelled up. No blunt-force injury or anything.
Swelling is in both knees, but we've got it under control. It's not real big. Just from the same spot, same cartilage, bone bruise on both sides," Bynum said.
The timetable for Bynum's return that was given by the team on Monday suggested that he could return to basketball related activity on December 10th if there was no further setback. Neither Bynum nor Sixers GM Tony DiLeo was committal when asked whether that timetable was still valid.
Bynum has not yet practiced or played for the Sixers.
A request for comment from the Sixers was not immediately returned.
