Some Local Truckers Join Convoy Heading To DC To Protest COVID Mandates
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Some truckers in the area came together Thursday to join a convoy advocating for an end to COVID-19 mandates and restrictions. Chopper 3 was over Penrose Plaza on Island Avenue, one of the meeting points.
We also spotted people on overpasses, holding flags and cheering them on.
The convoy is headed to the Washington, D.C. area where it hopes to attract the attention of lawmakers.
