Social Media Today: Super, Snapcash, and Spotify Partners With Uber

Twitter Cofounder Launches New App
Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has launched his second post-Twitter app called Super.
It's similar to a meme generator that lets you create pictures with silly captions, meant for sharing among your friends and on social networks like Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter.
Super also has an anonymous element called "anonymish" where users can remove their username from the post but the company points out people could figure out who you are.
Stone's previous app, Jelly, was a Q&A service that allowed users to ask questions about anything and get an answer from strangers.

New Snapchat Feature
Snapchat has partnered with mobile payments service Square to introduce Snapcash, a payments feature that lets you transfer money between accounts on the social network.
Square will handle the actual cash movements in the new feature and can be used by anyone over 18 with a debit card and U.S. address.
To send cash, just swipe into chat, type the dollar sign, enter an amount (e.g. $11.25), and, hit the green button that appears.
In a blog post Snapchat says "We set out to make payments faster and more fun, but we also know that security is essential when you're dealing with money. Square has a ton of experience in this area and our teams have been hard at work to make Snapcash a great experience for everyone."
For now, the new feature works for Android users only, though iOS users of Snapchat should get it soon.

Uber and Spotify Partner
Customers of the smart phone taxi app Uber will soon be able to stream music from Spotify during rides. People will be able to link their Spotify and Uber accounts, then access their playlists from Spotify's apps during Uber rides with drivers that have opted in to the feature.
