"Hashflags" are back
In honor of the World Cup, Twitter users can now add a little national pride to their tweets. The company has brought back "hashflags."
When fans tweet a hashtag followed by their country's three-letter abbreviation, a flag will appear in the tweet.
Fans can also keep up with all the World Cup action on Twitter by using and browsing the #WorldCup and #WorldCup2014 hashtags.

Facebook launches World Cup hub
Facebook has launched its new Trending World Cup hub. It will aggregate the best content related to the tournament in one place.
The hub will include scores and highlights from matches, a feed with real-time posts from friends, players, and teams, as well as an interactive map displaying where fans of top players are located.
Facebook's Trending World Cup can be accessed by clicking on World Cup in its Trending section, located on the right-hand side of News Feed.

JFK Library has relaunched President Kennedy Twitter account
More than 50 years after his assassination, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library is relaunching its @JFKsaid Twitter account, to connect Kennedy's words to current events on Twitter.
The account had previously been used to live-tweet Kennedy's presidency, but ended on Nov. 22, the date of his assassination.
