Social Media Helps Police Find Robbery Suspect In Camden County
GLOUCESTER TWP., N. J. (CBS) – The Gloucester Township Police Department was able to find a robbery suspect shortly after posting information of the incident on various social media outlets.
Police report that on September 13th at about 5:45 p.m., a white female and male were seen at the Rite Aid located at 1360 Blackwood-Clementon Road in Clementon, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the two suspects began arguing with the store clerk as they attempted to return stolen merchandise. During the argument, the male suspect walked away and allegedly hid a bottle of hair coloring in his pants.
Officials say the two suspects then got into an older black Buick with two other occupants.
Shortly after posting this information on social media, the Gloucester Township Police Department received an anonymous tip that led them to Robert Greenland of Clementon, New Jersey.
