So Far, 8 Cases Of West Nile Confirmed In Pennsylvania

Philadelphia (CBS) — Word from officials Friday that there is a new case of West Nile Virus in our area.
So far, eight confirmed human cases of West Nile Virus in Pennsylvania. The latest, state and local officials saying a 54-year-old Bucks County woman had contracted the virus.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection says, however, she is in good condition and didn't need to be hospitalized.
Earlier this week, state and local officials announced two Delaware County men had the virus. Both sent to the hospital for meningitis and recovering.
In New Jersey, two cases, one in Monmouth County, the other in North Jersey. So far, there are no confirmed cases in Delaware.
