Snow Doesn't Stop Eagles Fans From Watching The Birds Tame The Lions
By Dan Wing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The wicked winter storm didn't stop Eagles' fans from making the trek to Lincoln Financial Field for Sunday afternoon's game against the Detroit Lions.
While some fans did check out early, many more stayed around to watch an impressive Eagles' victory.
With a little snow in the forecast, some fans, like Dennis from Gloucester Township, New Jersey, says he came prepared for anything:
"Brought all kind of stuff not knowing what to wear. Rain gear, winter gear, the whole suit to match."
With another come-from-behind win under their belt, Dennis and his buddy, John, from Northeast Philly, think the Eagles are playoff bound with an NFC East title in their sights:
"I don't see why not," Dennis said.
"Yeah, I think they're going to win out," adds John.
Matt from Royersford admits when the team was down 14-0, and the snow was still relentlessly falling, he and his friends did consider hitting the road early.
"If I would've left at halftime, I would've regretted it for a long time."
The decision to stay proved to be the right one, as the Eagles rallied for the team's 5th win in a row.
