Skeletal Remains Of NJ Missing Man Found
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say the skeletal remains of a New Jersey man reported missing almost a year ago have been found.
The Gloucester County prosecutor and Washington Township police are investigating after the remains of 62-year-old Michael R. Miller were found by a person passing through some woods behind Miller's apartment complex Friday night.
Authorities say Miller was reported missing on Nov. 19, 2012, by the apartment complex property manager. At the time, Miller had not been seen or heard from in about two months and was two months behind in his rent. Authorities say Miller lived alone. His car was still parked at his apartment and his cellphone was left in his residence.
His remains were identified by jewelry and medical records. Autopsy results are pending.
