Sixers Waive Andrei Kirilenko
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Sixers announced on Saturday that they have waived forward Andrei Kirilenko. The forward was acquired in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets earlier this season.
Kirilenko appeared in no games with the Sixers and was suspended by the team for failure to report.
Kirilenko is in his 13th NBA season. During that span, Kirilenko has averaged 12 points, six rebounds and three assists per game. He was selected with the 24th overall selection in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz.
