Sixers Look To Get Back On Track Vs. Raptors
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Sixers will be back in South Philadelphia on Wednesday night as they welcome the Toronto Raptors to town.
Philadelphia is now 5-7 on the season after going 0-3 on their recently completed road trip. They have actually lost seven of nine since starting the season 3-0. But despite these struggles, the Sixers come into this game in first place in the Atlantic Division. They are a half-game ahead of the second place Raptors, who are 4-7.
The Sixers have been without rookie guard Michael Carter-Williams for the last four games because of a foot injury, but it looks like he could return to the line-up tonight.
Evan Turner continues to lead the Sixers in scoring, he is pouring in 22 points a game. Toronto is paced by Rudy Gay's 20.6 point average.
The Sixers are 4-3 at the Center this season and this will be their first meeting with the Raptors.
