Sixers Honor Fallen Philadelphia Police Officer During Warm Ups
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Saturday night, prior to their game with the Atlanta Hawks, the 76ers donned special shooting shirts to honor fallen Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III.
Wilson was shot and killed during a shootout with two suspects who were trying to rob a video game store in North Philadelphia on Thursday.
A memorial fund has been set up for the family of Officer Wilson and a service will be held for the community on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Saint Martin de Porres Church in North Philadelphia.
