Daniel Solomon, cofounder of Minute Suites, says what travelers wanted in between flights was a place where they could rest or do some work.
"Basically, it comes down to three things environmentally that travelers needed in order to get some sleep. one, it has to be quiet; two, it has to be cool; and three, it has to be secure," Solomon says.
Each of the thirteen rooms, behind the security gate of Terminal B, is a snug 56 square feet. Each room contains a sofa bed with a pull-out trundle, Internet access, Direct TV, Netflix, and a flight tracker -- but no toilet or sink.
"We've had small families," notes Solomon, "(but) I'd say the predominent traveler is the single business traveler. But we've had mothers with their infants."
The cost for your privacy is $30 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. You can stay overnight from 11 PM to 7 AM for $120.
