Several Children Suffer Minor Injuries During School Bus Accident In East Mount Airy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Several children suffered minor injuries after an accident involving a school bus and a truck in East Mount Airy on Monday.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. in East Mount Airy at Washington Lane and Ardleigh Street.
Officials say 11 kids and two adults on their way to Houston Elementary school were on board the bus when it collided with a trash truck.
Eight children as well as the bus driver and the bus aide were transported to the Einstein Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
