SEPTA's Largest Union Set To Vote On Whether To Strike Or Not

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA's largest union will hold a strike authorization vote tomorrow afternoon.
The Transport Workers Union Local 234 represents SEPTA bus drivers, subway and trolley operators.
They've been working without a contract since March.
The union says the pension plan is unfair. Although managers and union workers contribute the same amount to their pensions, the union says managers gets three times as much pension as Local 234 members. They want that gap closed.
SEPTA says no strike appears imminent, and it will release a service interruption plan if the situation warrants it.
There's no word on when workers might walk out if workers should authorize a strike.
The vote is scheduled for 3pm.
