SEPTA Trolley, School Bus Collide In Southwest Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - More than a dozen people were hurt after a SEPTA trolley and a school bus collided in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. along 70th Street and Elmwood Avenue.
SEPTA officials say an eastbound Route 36 trolley and the bus were involved in a crash at that intersection.
They say no children were on the school bus at the time, but two adults were injured.
Twelve passengers on the trolley also were hurt. They were taken to area hospitals with what SEPTA called "minor" injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
