SEPTA Rolls Out New Way To Track Your Train, Bus Or Trolley

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - SEPTA has rolled out a new way for its riders to keep track of how things are running.
SEPTA already had on its website ways to check on individual lines and offered tweets on bus and rail operational issues, but now, says spokesman Andrew Busch there's the system status feature at SEPTA.org.
"We feel like this gives people a very clean, neat, accurate snapshot of the entire system and it's very easy to find individual lines, individual modes of travel and anything that people need."
Access the page through a blue eye symbol on the SEPTA home page, and you'll see a comprehensive list of bus, rail, trolley and subway lines.
"If there's any kind of issue going on with any of the line, you see one of four icons. For severe weather, there may be a line suspension. You'll see something that kind of looks like a stop sign next to that line. There's a service alert. There's service advisories, which are for the most part planned disruptions and then bus detours."
Click on the icon and a window opens to explain what it is. Busch says this service is available on any web-enabled device.
