SEPTA Papal Regional Rail Passes Now Sold At Select Stations
By Mike DeNardo
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In-person sales of SEPTA's papal passes went underway Friday morning.
Papal pilgrims are now buying their special SEPTA regional rail passes in person.
Barry Howard of St. Davids bought a couple of passes for his neighbors in the online lottery. He is surprising other neighbors with passes he bought in person at Suburban Station.
"I have good neighbors who are not people who come to the city very often or are knowledgeable about the process," Howard said. "I told the one family that I had gotten tickets for them and they were just thrilled. So I thought I would do it again!"
SEPTA says the in-person sales will continue at selected stations until the passes are sold out.
