SEPTA, Amtrak, NJ Transit Announce Service Alerts Due To Winter Storm
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) -- SEPTA, Amtrak and NJ Transit have announced service alerts for Wednesday.

Customers should check System Status as some routes are still operating on weather related detours.
CCT CONNECT
CCT Connect will return to full service on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Impassable streets and/or sidewalks not cleared of accumulated snow, ice and/or streets blocked by stuck vehicles may prevent safe boarding and transport. Please contact the Control Center at 215-580-7720 to cancel trips if you do not plan to ride or to inquire about the status of any pending same day trips. Customers should call CCT Customer Service at 215-580-7145 for all other inquiries.
NORRISTOWN HIGH SPEED LINE
Service has resumed in both directions on the Norristown High Speed Line. Please check System Status for any further updates.
REGIONAL RAIL

AMTRAK:
Amtrak will operate on a modified schedule in the Northeast region on Wednesday due to the winter storm.
Passengers holding reservations are strongly encouraged to monitor conditions and make any necessary changes in advance of their scheduled departure using Amtrak.com.
The Acela Express and Northeast Regional service will operate on a modified schedule between New York City and Boston, with some trains truncated or cancelled.
The Acela Express and Northeast Regional service that operates between New York City and Washington, D.C., will continue to operate on a modified schedule with some trains truncated or cancelled, including some trains that operate in Virginia.
The Vermonter, Keystone Service, and Empire Service will also run on a modified schedule with some trains truncated or cancelled.
The Downeaster and Springfield Shuttle will resume scheduled service.
All long distance trains that normally travel to and from the Northeast Corridor will resume scheduled service.
NEW JERSEY TRANSIT
NJ TRANSIT rail service will resume a full weekday schedule for Thursday, March 16, 2017, following this week's winter weather.
NJ TRANSIT's bus, light rail and Access Link services resumed regular weekday service today.
NJ TRANSIT will continue to operate its President's Day schedule for today's evening peak period, however, additional trains have been added to the schedule to accommodate customers. Trains times can be found on NJ TRANSIT's website njtransit.com.

SPEED RESTRICTIONS
Pennsylvania highway officials are lifting restrictions on a section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike as a snowstorm that dumped as much as 30 inches on northern Pennsylvania loses force.
Highway officials said Tuesday that they lifted vehicle and speed restrictions on the turnpike west of the Morgantown exit. There have been no major road closures, but state officials warn that travel conditions could remain treacherous through the night, with winds picking up and temperatures dropping.
Vehicle and speed restrictions remain in place on I-80, 81, 83, 84, 176, 283, 380 and 476, and on all non-interstate expressways. Speed limits are 45 and prohibited are empty trailers, while towed trailers, buses, RVs and motorcycles. I-84 is closed to trucks.
National Weather Service storm warnings last as late as 10 p.m. in central and eastern Pennsylvania.
Power outages were scatted, while more than 500 flights combined have been cancelled at Philadelphia and Pittsburgh international airports.
