See An Uncensored Version of Tonight's 'Reign' Online

The CW is at it again pushing the edges of the envelope and staying a step ahead. In what some are calling a broadcast precedent, the network is planning on releasing a steamier, sexier uncensored online version of the broadcast version. It will be available on their website the morning after the initial standard-respecting version airs in it's normal Thursday, 9/8c time slot.

In a report in Entertainment Weekly, the episode, entitled, "The Consummation," apparently has two questionable scenes, one in the beginning and one at the end. Adalaide Kaine, who plays Mary Queen of Scots, must choose between King Henry II's sons, Bash and Francis, played by Torrence Coombs and Toby Rego respectively.

The CW won't specify exactly what about the two scenes' content is "too hot for TV," but EW quotes a network spokesperson as saying they're not just adding extra R-rated content, just offering a more "sexually intense" edit of the on-air version.

The broadcast version of "The Consummation" will air tonight at 9/8c; the online version will be posted on The CW's site tomorrow morning.
