Security Guard Recovering After Gun Battle Outside Of Feltonville Bar
By Mike Dougherty
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- At least 27 bullets were fired during a shootout in Feltonville early Thursday morning.
One man was hurt and police are now trying to track down the other shooter.
This happened at about 2 a.m outside a bar near Front and Wyoming.
Chief inspector Scott Small says a security guard at the bar heard shots outside and he went out and returned fire.
"Upon police arrival, they found a 22-year-old armed, uniformed security guard who was shot one time in the leg. Police transported him to Temple Hospital."
He's in stable condition.
The other shooter got into a Chevy Malibu and fled the scene with two other people. They ditched the car a few blocks away, and police are now looking for all three.
That car is registered to an address about a mile from the scene and authorities are waiting to speak with the owner.
