Searchers, Including Divers, Continue Hunt for Missing Lambertville, NJ Woman

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- The search for Sarah Majoras entered its 4th full day Wednesday, after she disappeared early Satuurday morning after crossing the bridge from New Hope to Lambertville.

New Jersey State Police divers went back into the chilly waters of the Delaware and Raritan Canal, focusing on a stretch of the waterway between Bridge Street and Coryell Street in this Hunterdon County community.

They are looking for 39-year-old Sarah Majoras (right), who was last seen early Saturday morning crossing the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge (see related story).  She had just left the bar where she works in New Hope after spending some time with friends (see previous story).

Police believe she may have come through this area on the way to her house.

In the picture (right) taken near the Delaware and Raritan canal, search teams pulled a boot from the icy waters at 2 p.m. Although investigators wouldn't confirm it is the boot of Sarah Majoras, the brown leather boot with a fur top matches the description given of the new hope bartender's boots.

Meanwhile, several dozen civilians are also searching in another part of town, hoping to find some clue that will lead to the missing woman.

Hunterdon County prosecutor Anthony Kearns, at a news conference in Lambertville Wednesday afternoon, made another plea to the public to come forward with any information they may have in Majoras' disappearance.

Investigators say they still do not suspect any foul play in the disappearance.
