Search For Missing New Hope Bartender Intensifies

By Robin Reiger, Molly Daly

LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- The search continues for a New Jersey woman who disappeared after she left a popular New Hope, Pa. bar early Saturday.

The Hunterdon County prosecutor's office says 39-year-old Sarah Majoras was last seen about 2 a.m. Saturday when she left John and Peter's, where she works as a bartender.

Authorities say Majoras was last spotted walking across the bridge into Lambertville, New Jersey, where she lives. Video footage shows she made it across.

Dive teams searching for the missing woman in the Delaware River turned up nothing, even as investigators continued to investigate on land, using dogs, and by helicopter.

Sarah Majoras is described as 5' 4" tall, with blue eyes and blond hair. She was wearing blue jeans, a white cap, a camouflage jacket, and brown leather boots.
