Search Continues For Pair In Hit-Run That Killed 2-Year-Old Boy In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Despite having the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in Kensington that killed a 2-year-old boy, Philadelphia Police say the search for two people who were inside the vehicle is still ongoing.
The late-model white Infiniti 'M' series struck a 2-year-old boy and his mother as they crossed Mascher Street near Lehigh Avenue around 7 p.m. on April 13th. While the mother suffered only minor injuries, 2-year-old David Alicea died from his injuries a few days later.
Police say the owners of the vehicle brought it to authorities late last week, but say they weren't the ones behind the wheel. Police say they are now looking for two men believed to be inside the vehicle at the time of the deadly accident, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Philadelphia Police Department's Accident Investigation Division at 215-638-3180.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
Meanwhile, the woman allegedly behind the wheel of an SUV that killed 4-year-old Latiff Wilson that same day in Southwest Philadelphia still hasn't turned herself in to authorities. Her attorney began negotiating her surrender last Tuesday after she admitted to him that she was responsible for his death.
