UPDATE: Reward Offered For Information Leading To Arrest Of Driver In Fatal Hit-Run In Collingdale

COLLINGDALE, Pa., (CBS) -- Police continue to search for the driver wanted in connection with a deadly hit and run in Collingdale, Delaware County. Now, a reward is being offered for information on the case.
Police say a 58-year-old man was killed Friday night at the intersection of Clifton Avenue and Spruce Street.
"For somebody to hit him like that, and get out of the car and see what he did and take off. It wasn't a dog that he hit. It was a man, he was a human being," the victim's brother Christopher McCaughan said.
That human being is his brother, 58-year-old Timothy McCaughan, who was a father of three and had two grandchildren and another on the way. McCaughan was walking down the street from his brother's home Friday night when a car hit him at Spruce Street and Clifton Avenue (See Previous Story).
"Kind of shocked. It's unfortunate and I hope they catch the person that did it," local business owner Steven Dinh said.
Police released this photo, the vehicle appears to be an older tan SUV, and this was caught on surveillance before the driver took off.
"Please just turn yourself in; you ruined a lot of lives," McCaughan said.
That's a plea police are also making. They're knocking on doors and talking to neighbors asking if anyone knows the suspect. They're also handing out this flyer with a sketch and description of the driver. He's 6'2", with a stocky build, full beard and could've been wearing a red jacket.
And while the victim's brother wipes away tears, friends are putting up flowers and words of hope near the crash site. A business owner nearby says McCaughan was well known in the neighborhood and will be missed.
"He talked to everyone and everybody seemed to like him. Didn't bother anybody else, very jolly," Dinh said.
In the next couple of days, family will be preparing for his funeral.
Police say a $2,000 reward is now being offered for information on the driver involved in the accident. The following citizens and business owners have pledged money towards a reward.
