Schuylkill Expressway Back To Normal After Stalled Tractor-Trailer Blocks Westbound Lane
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A stalled tractor-trailer on the Schuylkill Expressway caused a large traffic backup Thursday morning. The situation started around 8:39 a.m. on the westbound side.
The tractor-trailer broke down in the middle lane between Girard Avenue and the Vine Street Expressway. This caused a huge backup that stretched all the way bay to Interstate 95.
The truck was towed away, and traffic returned to normal around 10:30 a.m.
