Philadelphia Public And Archdiocesan Schools Closing Early Due To Heat
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Due to extreme heat and humidity, all School District of Philadelphia and Archdiocesan Schools will also close at 1:30 p.m. today.
The District and the Archdiocese say they are taking an excessive heat warning seriously by closing schools. Routine transportation will occur for students at the 1:30 p.m. dismissal time.
The excessive heat warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. tonight.
