UPDATE: 2 Children Injured In School Bus Accident On I-95
LANGHORNE, Pa., (CBS) – Officials say two children were injured in a school bus accident on I-95 in Bucks County Monday.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. on I-95 southbound near Exit 44 in Langhorne.

Officials say about 30 people were on board the school bus at the time of the crash.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the school bus was traveling in the right lane when the left rear tires separated from the rear axle. Authorities say the school bus crossed over the left lane, then crossed over the left shoulder, and down the grass embankment striking the center median guide wire.
Police say the school bus then traveled about 57 feet along the guide wire, coming to a stop facing south on the southbound center median. One tire was found in the center median and a second tire was found in the right shoulder brush line.
I-95 southbound lanes were shut down as authorities investigated the accident scene. Southbound lanes were later reopened at about 5:15 p.m.
According to officials, two children were taken to St. Mary Medical Center with minor injuries.
Authorities say the other school bus occupants, 27 children, were moved onto another school bus and taken to Saint Mary Medical Center for evaluation.
All of those taken to the hospital are now listed in either stable or good condition and are expected to be released Monday night.
The accident remains under investigation.
