Schedule Changes for Amtrak's Keystone Line
by KYW's Tony Romeo
Train schedules on the Keystone Line between Philadelphia and Harrisburg will be altered for much of the rest of the summer starting Monday.
PennDOT spokesman Rich Kirkpatrick says to allow for track improvements, almost two dozen trains between Harrisburg and Philadelphia will operate on different schedules for a number of weeks ahead, starting Monday:
"Once this work is done in late August, the schedules will go back to what they had been previously. Many of the eastbound trains from Harrisburg to Philadelphia will depart earlier from all the route stations, and the westbound service from Philadelphia out to Harrisburg, many of those trains will depart later from the Lancaster and Middletown stations."
