Santa Brings Elves, Gifts, Scuba Gear To Adventure Aquarium
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Santa Claus not only brings gifts to good little boys and girls, but to animals and fish too.
Jolly Old St. Nick paid a visit to Adventure Aquarium in Camden on Friday. He arrived into town with his helpers by way of jet skis along the Delaware River.
Santa received a warm welcome by the children and adults gathered on the dock outside the aquarium.
"I come every year and I sprinkle some magic in the exhibits. I give them treats and toys if they've been good."
Santa put on his scuba gear and plunged into the water to the amazement of the boys and girls below, watching through a giant window.
Sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and other marine life swam around him and one of his elves.
"I waved hi," says nine-year-old Tori Frasier of Towson, Del. "He waved hi back and then blowed a kiss."
"He was hi-fiving people and waving hi and a curtain of bubbles came out and that was really really cool," adds ten-year old Jordan Grosseibl, also of Towson.
Santa will be making stops to Adventure Aquarium now until December 30th.
