Sandusky Subpoenas Pile Up In Centre County Court

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) - Motions to quash subpoenas issued by Jerry Sandusky's lawyer are piling up in Centre County Court.
First, it was the attorney general's office on Friday filing a motion, accusing Sandusky's attorney of "exploiting" subpoenas, and asking the judge presiding over the case to direct the defense to stop issuing subpoenas and to withdraw those already issued.
The prosecution also said the defense, in issuing the subpoenas, was improperly including the names and birth dates of alleged victims. On Monday and Tuesday, two school districts filed their own motions seeking to block defense subpoenas, as did The Second Mile, the charity that was founded by Sandusky.
The judge has given the defense until Thursday morning to file a response to the Commonwealth's motion. The attorneys are under a gag order, but Sandusky's attorney has denied improper use of subpoenas.
