Samantha Jones Has Arrived On "The Carrie Diaries"
As previously announced, the second season of "The Carrie Diaries" will bring a familiar face; Carrie Bradshaw's future BFF Samantha Jones!
Lindsey Gort has landed the coveted role, and we must admit she is a dead ringer for Kim Cattrall, who originated the role in the hit HBO series "Sex and the City."
"In another nerve-wracking search to create the amazing characters we all came to know and love on "Sex and the City," we went out in search this year for a young Samantha Jones," noted executive producer Amy B. Harris, in a statement.
"Lindsey Gort walked into the room and owned the part. Funny and sexy with a whiff of vulnerability and an amazing dash of outrageousness, Lindsey is our exciting choice to play the young Samantha Jones."
