Rowan University's Mascot Chosen By Yahoo As One Of Most Unique In College Football
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Rowan University's mascot was ranked one of Yahoo's picks for the Top 25 Most Unique Mascots in College Football.
The university's official mascot, "The Prof," which is short for "professor," is represented by an owl named WhooRU.
Rowan has always been known for producing educators and was once called New Jersey's State Teacher's College at Glassboro, which explains their choice of a seemingly unlikely mascot.
