Romney In Philly To Address Tri-State Tax Day Tea Summit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Presumed Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney was in Philadelphia Monday night to address the Tri-State Tax Day Tea Summit held at the Franklin Institute.
With Pennsylvania's primary set for Tuesday, Romney wasted little time getting his Anti-Obama message out to the dozens in attendance.
"Someone calculated that the taxes he would raise from his Buffet Rule would pay for 11-hours. Would pay for 11-hours of the government. This is not exactly a grand idea. This man is out of ideas, he's out of excuses, and in 2012 we're going to make sure he get's put out of office."
Romney also took time to talk about the nation's economic recovery
"Deficits limit our economic freedom. Raising taxes affects our economic freedom. Regulation. You have to have regulations to make a market place work, but regulations that get too large can overwhelm the enterprises that you're trying to encourage."
The summit was hosted by the Independence Hall Tea Party Association, the first Tea Party group in the nation to formally support Romney.
