'Riverdale's' Casey Cott To Perform At 6th Annual #GiveBack Concert
Philadelphia (CW Philly) — Casey Cott is adding Broadway to his résumé. The actor, who plays Kevin Keller in Riverdale, is performing at the sixth annual #giveback concert, which benefits the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC). The show debuts on Sunday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at WNYC's The Greene Space and is directed by Nathan Tysen (Amélie and Tuck Everlasting).
Cott will be joined by various TV, Broadway, Film and YouTube stars including: Chris Weaver (The Voice), Darius de Haas (Dreamgirls), and Sean Green, Jr. (Hamilton), just to name a few. For the full performers line-up click here.
The #giveback concert is presented by Kelly Weaver, Mike Borges, and Broadway Unlocked founder, Jessica Ryan.
This concert is especially important to Ryan, as her best friend, Avery Ragsdale, received services at CVTC.
"He [Ragsdale] asked if I would help get our friends to lend their talents and raise money for a coloring table for their lobby, I knew a coloring table wasn't enough. Seven years later, Broadway Unlocked and Crime Victims Treatment Center continue to bring together a powerhouse roster of Broadway, TV, YouTube and film talent to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars," Ryan said. "Thanks to the visibility of the #MeToo movement and #TimesUp, it's more important than ever that we continue do our part to keep the doors open so that other people like Avery can receive help and healing regardless of their financial circumstances," she continued.
