Ring In The New Year With A Bang! CBS 3 To Air Penn's Landing Fireworks
Philadelphia, December 19, 2011 -- CBS 3 will once again broadcast the Penn's Landing New Year's Eve fireworks live at midnight on December 31st.
Anchors Chris May and Susan Barnett will host the spectacular display as part of an hour-long New Year's Eve special airing from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on CBS 3.
Meteorologist Kathy Orr will report live from the Blue Cross RiverRink joining families as they watch the magical display of color choreographed to music simulcast by CBS 3 sister station KYW Newsradio 1060.
The broadcast will also take a year-end look at major events in entertainment, news and sports and will feature the Philadelphia Boys' Choir and a performance from ice dancers and Olympic hopefuls Cassandra Jeandell and Damian Dodge.
