Of course, no list is complete without a fireworks viewing location. Laurie Hendricks, with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, says the family-friendly fun is on Penn's Landing.
"There is ice skating at the Blue Cross RiverRink. We have two 'Parties on Ice,' sort of the best place to view each of the fireworks shows. We have a skater and spectator ticket, and those tickets are available at www.riverrink.com."
And don't forget: KYW Newsradio will provide the soundtrack to the fireworks. Listen to 1060 AM while you're watching to get the full effect of the synchronized fireworks shows at 6 p.m. and midnight.
