Retired Philadelphia Cop Stabbed In Port Richmond

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a retired Philadelphia police officer early Monday morning.
The stabbing happened in the 3000 block of Salmon Street in the city's Port Richmond section.
Investigators say the retired officer was outside his home when he was stabbed in the chest by an unknown assailant. The unidentified officer was taken to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and a possible motive remains under investigation.
