Resurgent Villanova Wildcats Visit Louisville
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Things may be turning around on the Main Line for the Villanova Wildcats.
After dropping 10 of 14 games, the Wildcats (10-10 overall, 3-5 in the Big East) have gotten off the mat to post back-to-back wins in Big East action. They will try to make it three straight victories Wednesday night as they visit Louisville.
The Cardinals come into this game 15-5, but they are just 3-4 in the Big East.
These two teams last met in January of last year with the Wildcats winning by 14 at the Wells Fargo Center. That victory evened the all-time series between the two teams at 8-8.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Villanova radio play-by-play voice Ryan Fannon about the match-up and the Wildcats recently play.
