Residents Displaced After Fire Damages North Philadelphia Row Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating a fire that ripped through a row home in the city's Wissinoming neighborhood Sunday morning.
Fire crews responded to the 6100 block of Tackawanna Street at about 7:15 a.m. Heavy smoke was seen coming from the home with fire spreading to nearby residences. In all, two homes were damaged, according to authorities.
Residents were successfully evacuated with no reports of any injuries. The American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter is providing assistance to those displaced by the fire.

One family is reportedly staying at the Red Cross House in West Philadelphia. Two families and five adults were given food and clothes.
The fire remains under investigation.
