Rescuing A Greyhound

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - If you're looking to adopt a canine companion in the near future, or if you're looking to add another canine member to your family, consider adopting and rescuing an ex-racing Greyhound.
Along with my many rescues over the years of all kinds of wonderful breeds and breed mixes, I currently share my home with a rescued Greyhound. These dogs are extremely loving, mild natured and devoted companions. They are very affectionate and easy to train. And they most certainly need and deserve a good home.
As with every dog, of course, they do need and enjoy a daily walk but unlike many other breeds, you may be surprised to know that although they were bred to run, they actually don't require much exercise. In fact, they are notorious couch potatoes and are very well suited to any sized home or apartment.
