Reports Of Ground Shaking, Loud Boom In Cape May County
CAPE MAY COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities are investigating reports of the ground shaking in Cape May County Tuesday afternoon.
It was the buzz among some people on social media who say they felt the shaking in the areas of North Cape May and Rio Grande around 1:30 p.m.
Others heard a loud boom.
The United States Geological Survey says they did not detect any earthquakes in the area and they don't believe the shaking or the boom sound was of meteorological origin.
