Report: Michael Vick Would Play For Jets, Only If He Makes More Than Sanchez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It would seem that in all likelihood, Michael Vick will not be the starting quarterback for the Eagles in 2013. A recent report says that wherever he ends up, Vick wants to be assured he's the starter.
According NFL.com's Ian Rappaport, Vick thinks he's still an NFL starter, and would like to play another four years. One of the teams that might in the market for a quarterback is the New York Jets. Vick would be interested, on one condition.
Those sources also said Vick would not want to join the New York Jets if Mark Sanchez still is the starter, but he would consider signing with the Jets if he were paid more than Sanchez, making it clear that Vick was the No. 1 quarterback on the depth chart.
Vick would be due $17 million if the Eagles retain him under his current contract.
Rappaport also says that Vick has a head coach preference.
The sources close to Vick said he might wait to see if Oregon coach Chip Kelly decides to take an NFL coaching job in the offseason, adding that Vick already has imagined himself playing in Kelly's fast-paced spread offense.
Vick will be the Eagles' third-string quarterback for Sunday's game against the Redskins.
