Report: Dolphins Hire Bill Lazor As Offensive Coordinator
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Bill Lazor is taking his talents to South Beach.
Lazor has been hired to be the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. There was a report Tuesday that Lazor was set to be hired as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions.
Lazor joined the Eagles coaching staff as the quarterbacks coach in 2013. Though Chip Kelly is the clear architect of the Eagles offense, Lazor should get some credit for the development of second year quarterback Nick Foles.
Meanwhile, Eagles VP of Player Personnel Tom Gamble will remain with the team, after rumors circulated that he was a top candidate for the Dolphins GM job.
