Report: Andy Reid Wants Nick Foles For The Chiefs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – When Andy Reid left the Eagles, and became head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, there was speculation that Michael Vick might follow. It was assumed at the time that Vick would no longer be with the Eagles.
Then the Eagles hired Chip Kelly, Michael Vick signed on for one more year, and the Eagles went and signed Dennis Dixon. All of a sudden, it looks like Foles may be the odd man out, and the most valuable trade chip the the Eagles have.
As it turns out, an Eagles quarterback may end up with Reid, but it's not Michael Vick.
USA Today reports that Reid and the Chiefs are interested in trading for Foles "if he becomes available." It would seem he's available. Reid drafted Foles in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
If Foles isn't in the plans for the Eagles, and they can get a third round pick for him, it would seem to be a good idea to do it. The Eagles have a roster to remake, and a team to rebuild, and if Foles isn't the quarterback of the future, all of the extra picks they can get are a good idea.
